Good things happen
I had once read that True happiness is having nowhere else to be.
This stuck with me. There’s a unique sense of freedom in saying, “I’ve nowhere else to be”
But we don’t say it very often because we always have somewhere to be, something to do.
Nowhere is a funny word, almost strange. Nowhere = now. here.
These thoughts (musings as writers call them) come from nowhere and end in nowhere.
I am learning to just be in the moment
it’s a long learning curve,
and I bend some rules
so I guess it’ll be fun to share in this newsletter
how I had nowhere else to be
except everywhere my mind took me.
(If and) While you read it I hope you also have nowhere else to be - and for a few seconds my words relish your undivided attention, if not your bucks.
It’s a bit too much to expect from somebody I just met. I’m optimistic that way.
I’m also undecisive. I considered a lot of titles for my substack because there’s the hope and freshness in committing to writing, or committing to anything that makes it special.
The titles that couldn’t make it have made it to my first post. If you’ve read so far, it only feels right that I leave you with this personal trivia and a postcard-ish picture-
